Deals, deals, deals!!

I'd like to start a new thread where we can post "deals" going on that we come across. So many times I've made phone calls or sent emails to friends and family when I found out about a sale that was going on or clearance items I've found...only it would have been great to call--or in this case type--just one time and it benefit everyone. Sure, I could email everyone, but we all get so much email already. So I'm going to post deals/clearance stuff/sales under this thread and hope others will too. That way you can check the thread when you want a deal.

  3. Jaime-- I did a search on the web for bento. It seems to me, it's basically a cutesy way to get your kid (or yourself :) ) to eat right. If you go to http://www.feedblitz.com/f/?previewfeed=126328 you'll see a pic of several bento-esque lunches. It makes your lunch more fun, which encourages your child (or you) to eat the good-for-you food. I've eaten this way quite a few times--not all fancy in separate little containers--and have been laughed at for eating a "weird" lunch. I'd have something like this: little bit of chicken, a chunk of cheese, a few grapes, a hard-boiled egg, and raw spinach. I guess it seemed weird because it didn't "go together" like a plate of steak, mashed potatoes, and steamed broccoli would. So putting it in a "cutesy" container makes sense!! I think I"m going to have to give it a whirl. I know I can buy those silicone cupcake holders at Michaels. Maybe I'll have to pick some out and try it out. I'm sure Max will be the envy of all of preschool. ;)
